A French man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for the manslaughter of a 15-year-old British schoolboy in Spain.
Ludwig Alexis Thiebaud stabbed Andrew Milroy in the heart outside a nightclub in Lloret de Mar in the Costa Brava during the course of a fight in the early hours of July 17, 2011.
The court also ordered 21 year old Thiebaud to pay €120,000 to Andrew Milroy’s parents
The Frenchman was exradited to Spain in 2011 to face trial after he had been arrested in Normandy,
The jury at his trial agreed Thiebaud, had not intended to kill the Spanish born youngster, despite brandishing a dangerous knife which he knew could kill someone.
