THE president of the Government of Almeria, Gabriel Amat, has signed the contract to start work on the project “Paving in Mojacar”.The project includes the expansion of the parking area next to the AL5107 road and is being funded through the Government provincial plans at a cost of €128,000.
The expansion of the existing parking area will create 51 new parking spaces covering an area of 1458 square metres.The works will also include an extension of 431 metres to the existing promenade and the installation of a drainage network to collect surface rainwater as well as signage for the parking area.
