Motril to host education workshop for parents

The town of Motril will host workshops for parents to help them with the education of their children.

Elena Vallejo, Education councillor, stated that the objective of the workshops was to determine what advances could be made in the education of the parents to help them to positively influence their children to get ahead at school.

Vallejo went on to say that the workshops would offer the parents tools and strategies that would help to induce good study habits in their children.

Vice-President of the Educational Council, Antonio Joaquin Ramirez, pointed out that these workshops offer parents everything they need to help their offspring including, but not limited to, how to keep their children in school until the age of 18 and study methods.

550 mothers and fathers participated in the workshops.
