Tom Jones wows at Starlite Marbella

TOM JONES wowed the crowd at the Cantera de Marbella with his magnificent voice.

Charismatic Welsh singer Tom Jones put on an unforgettable performance on Sunday at Starlite Marbella and took concertgoers on an exciting stroll down memory lane with his greatest hits as well as songs from his last two albums Praise & Blame (2010) and Spirit in the Room (2012).

Accompanied by great musicians, Jones performed a varied set list which included rhythm & blues, rock, gospel and country music. The crowd was into the concert right from the get-go and Jones did not disappoint. He opened the show with Burning Hell and had people on their feet and dancing all through his performance, especially during Mama Told Me Not To Come and Sexbomb.

Some of the other songs included Didn’t It Rain, Tower of Song, It’s not Unusual and the wonderful Delilah, which had people singing along. Jones also played crowd-pleasers like You Can Leave Your Hat On, written by Randy Newman and immortalised by Joe Cocker, and Kiss by Prince.

The concert was attended by numerous celebrities including actress Esther Arroyo, Carmen Lomana, Spanish fashion designer Elena Benarroch, Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, Simona Gandolfi and interior architect Aneta Mijatovic.
