The courts in Malaga have sentenced a couple to a total of eight years for drug trafficking and crimes against public health.
So far so normal but this couple conducted their seedy business in front of their daughter who is a minor.
The national police organised surveillance of the home of the couple when they got wind of the fact that the father of the family may be dealing drugs.
They sent in undercover policemen who confirmed not only that he was dealing drugs but that he was doing so in front of his daughter who was underage; the man was already known to the police due to having a record for a similar offence from 2011.
The undercover policemen witnessed the man and his wife passing packets to clients and receiving money in exchange and so asked for a search warrant for the premises.
When they ran out of packets to sell to their clients they asked their daughter to go and fetch them some more from their “store room” in the residence.
During the search the police confiscated four packets which contained a mix of heroin and cocaine, weighing a total of 45 grams, some packets of marijuana and only €383 in cash.
Although the daughter participated in some of the deals the courts have not yet decided whether she will be processed for this as it is not yet clear if she was obliged by her parents or if she participated voluntarily.
