A Polish man has been acquitted of the murder of a Moroccan drug trafficker in Benalmadena in October 2011.
The deceased is believed to have sold hashish to a group of people from Eastern Europe in August 2011 and they ordered more from him.
In October that year, one of the men agreed to meet him at Benalmadena bullring, but when he returned, he told his family that he had not shown up.
He called him and went to the bullring again, and nothing was known of him until his body was found buried near El Borge.
He had been held against his will for several days and beaten violently before being choked to death.
Three people were arrested and the Polish man was facing 27 years in prison.
However, he has only been sentenced to three years for document falsification.
