Guardia Civil are searching for a gang of professional thieves who allegedly mugged the manager of a company and stole €7,000.
The attack took place in Alora when the victim, carrying the company wages, was driving. Two vehicles crossed his path in front and behind his vehicle.
Four men dressed in dark clothes and wearing hoods got out, and one of them shot in the air before pointing the gun at him.
They took the cash and fled, although the vehicles they used, which had previously been stolen, were found abandoned shortly afterwards.
A gun was also found. The Guardia Civil believe they knew when the company paid wages in cash, what day it was paid, who carried the money and the itinerary they followed.
