FOUR hotels in Mallorca and one in Menorca are amongst the best 100 in the world.
The hotels have been recognised and awarded for their facilities by TUI, the largest tour operator in the German market, with strong markets in Scandinavia, UK and Central Europe.
Mallorca hotels awarded at the gala presented in Sevilla were: Hotel El Coto in Colonia de Sant Jordi; Grupotel Parc Natural and Spa, Platja de Muro; Finca Son Trobat in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Villa Chiquita in Colonia de Sant Jordi. Apartments Mar Blau received an award on the island of Menorca.
The results were based on customer satisfaction surveys with around half-a-million travellers giving their views.
